Program Description:
This project will be completed remotely.  This project is only open to 4th and 5th year students.

Project Description:

This interactive project will help you feel more confident and prepared to launch into your journey after Oberlin. Students will reflect and articulate the value of their Oberlin experience and develop job search strategies and interview skills to prepare for their future career or graduate school. Students will network with industry leaders and alumni to gain insight into workplace culture and develop their own personal brand to represent themselves authentically. 3-5 workshops will be offered each week centered around career readiness and professional development with the remaining time involving self-guided work. Students will develop an artifact of learning whereby they will identify a critical social issue (i.e. police brutality, criminal justice reform, immigration issues, income disparity, or public health) and examine it through a career area of interest. Consequently, students will grapple with real-world issues and offer creative solutions while enhancing career readiness. Note: This project is not recommended for students who have already participated in the Career Communities Program.
