Interested in exploring career options relating to Art History? In this Winter Term project we will meet and speak with professionals from a wide range of careers relating to Art History to get a sense of a what a job in their field involves and advice on how to get a similar position. We will talk with museum professionals but also people working in some of the following areas: activism, art dealing/auction house, conservation, art history publishing, copy editing, art law, art librarian, rare book librarian, non-profit arts organization, and cultural heritage. many of the people we will talk to will be alumni. Students will have a chance to ask questions about different careers and get advice. Time will also be spent on how to identify and apply for internships and jobs.
