Violin students of Professor Sibbi Bernhardsson will spend one week in an intense, immersive practice session during Winter Term. The purpose of this bootcamp is to spend focused time on rigorous solo violin practice without the distractions of coursework, gigs, exams, and other commitments required of students during the academic semesters. The core activities of the bootcamp will be several hours of uninterrupted individual practice, 3-4 private lessons per student per week with Professor Bernhardsson, master classes, and technique/scale classes. Instrumental work will be balanced out with fitness classes at Oberlin’s Health and Wellness Center and social and team building activities.

There is no fee for this project.
